Larger residential piles will be permitted when Winter Burning Season opens (weather conditions dependant).

Mendocino County Air Quality permits are required year ‘round. These can be obtained for free at Anderson Valley Fire Department or on-line at https://www.co.mendocino.ca.us/aqmd/

Always call 463-4391 to see if it is an air quality burn day prior to burning.
